Fabio Holanda Seminar

Sensei Doré had a great seminar this weekend with Fabio Holanda at Hayabusa Training Centre. We had three separate sessions: a gi, no gi jiu-jitsu, and mma session.

Roy Harris Seminar

Sensei Doré and Darren Makeiff attended this seminar. I learned quite a bit that day. Roy Harris spent the whole day on hold downs, and ways he modified them to make them more effective.

Bas Rutten Seminar

Sensei Dore, Landon Caldwell and Dexter Clarke attended. All in all, we had a great seminar. Thanks, BasBas Rutten, Sensei Dore, Landon Caldwell and Dexter Clarke

The SERIES Part 3 Saturday, September 9th, 2009 Arashi Do North - Grappling Tournament

Arashido Tournament

On September 19th, only a couple of our members were able to attend the Arashido Grapplin, but they represented the club well. Hailey Allan (Orange Belt), who is only 12 years old, competed against boys ranging from 13 to 15 years old, and placed third. She won one match by 7 points, almost choking the boy she was against, but ran out of time, lost one match by 4 point, and had a draw.
