Mat Pilates

MAT PILATES:  Our mat pilates classes will introduce you to the basic principles of movement that are taught through mat and small props.  Joseph Pilates was an amazing inventor of Contrology.  The concept of controlling precise and flowing movements in the body.  Mat Pilates will teach you breath,  alignment, core activation,  strength, and mobility in the body.  Each class will utilize various small props and establish base for the core.  Mat classes will lengthen,  strengthen, and connect the body and mind in a unique and powerful manner. Various levels are offered.  8 – 12 clients per class.

BENDER BALL METHOD/TOTAL BODY CONDITIONING: The Bender Method was designed by Leslee Bender.  The Bender method will be utilized throughout the class,  using progressive patterns to establish safe and effective movement.  Core endurance and strength will be the focus, leaving your feeling stronger and more connected!  The Bender Ball method strives to use very progressive methods of core training to ensure you to activate the right core muscles without over firing the global muscles.  This small little ball supports the body to allow less stress to the neck,  hip flexors, and back while training the core.  Various levels are offered.  8 – 12 clients per class.
