Reformer / Full Apparatus Training

 

FULL APPARATUS:  (VARIOUS LEVELS OFFERED) Full apparatus classes utilize all the larger pieces of equipment designed by Joseph Pilates.  The reformer,  tower, spine corrector, and chair.  These amazing spring loaded pieces of apparatus strengthen, and lengthen the body while challenging the core and the deep connections and intrinsic muscles.  Apparatus will focus on engaging the mind with the body  to create exercises that involve the whole body.  Every exercise is performed with attention to breath, proper form, and efficient movement patterns.  Pilates strengthens the core and improves balance, increases coordination, and decreases stress.  Groups of 4 clients per class.

JUMPBOARD FULL APPARATUS:  (INTERM AND ADVANCED ONLY)  This class will utilize all of the apparatus with a great little twist.  The jumpboard.  The jumpboard adds a safe aerobic bang to the class.  Increasing the heart rate in intervals.  Classes will still focus on alignment, breath, and deep connections while adding the interval of the jumpboard.  Groups of 4 clients per class.

ATHLETIC FULL APPARATUS: (INTERM AND ADVANCED ONLY)  This class will utilize all of the apparatus plus a few more!  The TRX suspension system,  bosu ball, and other pieces may be incorporated.  Classes will focus on power, strength, and endurance.  A more athletic training focus will be placed on the class vs a more traditional teaching method.  Groups of 4 clients per class.

20/20/20 POWER COMBO:  (ALL LEVELS)  This one hour class will incorporate 20 minutes of mat pilates/fusion/release and openers, 20 minutes of apparatus work on larger pieces of equipment/ and 20 minutes of TRX Suspension System training.  This class will allow the client to experience all the amazing apparatus and equipment in the studio for an intense yet opening mind body class.  Groups of 4 clients per class.

30/30 BEGINNER FULL APPARATUS – MAT COMBO:  (BEGINNER)  This class is a great introduction for the beginner who wants both mat and apparatus work.   A strong base foundation to mat is essential to understand and fully connect to the apparatus.  The basics of mat and apparatus will be taught, allowing the client to benefit from all movements and principles incorporated in movement pilates.  Groups of 4 clients per class.

TRX/CHAIR COMBO:  (INTERM AND ADVANCED)  This class combines the TRX Suspension Training System with the Chair.  Smaller pieces such as the bosu, gliders, weights, and bender balls may also be utilized. This class will challenge all clients.  A faster pace and more athletic twist will be placed on this class.  Groups of 4 clients per class.

REFORM AND RESTORE:  Through the use of the reformer and small apparatus; muscle balance, symmetry, and core will be REFORMED.  Through restorative yoga; hormone balancing poses of ageless movements for pre and menopausal women, will leave you feeling restored and refreshed.  This is a combination class of 30 minutes pilates and 30 minutes of yoga.
