Biography

Lisa Richmond has been in the fitness industry since 1989.  Starting as a group fitness leader in traditional aerobics she started to grow more into muscular strength and conditioning classes and has extensive training and teaching with the stability ball.  During these years Lisa practiced yoga and incorporated the poses into her regular fitness classes.

In 2006, Lisa obtained her 200 hour level as a Registered Yoga Teacher and now teaches in the styles of Hatha, therapeutic and restorative.  She specializes in teaching people who are dealing with an injury, illness and provides tools to assist with stress management.
In 2008, Lisa started her journey into Pilates, obtaining a Mat Certificate and the first level of Tower, Chair/Barrel/Spine Corrector and Trapeze Table.  She has continued that training with a full certification in Pilates equipment now including the Reformer and can teach all levels in 2011.  Lisa’s focus with Pilates is helping her clients with proper functional movement and strength with the healing benefits of a pure mind and body connection.
